If a child meets ‘every’ assessment criteria by the end of Year 6, they are working ABOVE the expected level in reading.
A child who meets every assessment criteria in STAGE 4 (but does not meeting every assessment criteria in STAGE 5) by the end of Year 6 is working AT the expected level in reading.
A child who does not complete every assessment criteria in STAGE 4 by the end of Year 6 is working BELOW the expected level in reading.
